SCDC has been supporting the City’s objective to create a vibrant and active City/Centre/downtown including a pedestrian friendly hub that provides a wide range of high value jobs, services, educational opportunities, entertainment, residences and open spaces. As a part of the “Build Surrey” program, Surrey City Council approved the Civic Centre/City Hall Master Plan in November 2009. SCDC is currently co-ordinating the design and construction of this site. SCDC is also involved in a joint venture with Century Group on a major mixed-use tower in the City Centre.
